Yes, I use the tablet plugin, but the kind of tablet I use is not an iPad, more like this:

I don't have an iPad, but if you have one, who knows it might work? What the plug-in basically does is give the oekaki support for the pressure sensitivity feature of the pens that come with these graphics tablets.

If you have an iPad I would try using that first. And I dunno, my tablet is a really small one and cost about $60, but I got it years ago. You have to plug it into your computer, and look at your computer screen while drawing on it. I have some friends who own one but never use it because they can't get used to that.
